I am excited to share this docudrama of my life with you called, “Unconditional Surrender.” I dedicate this presentation to my dear parents, Thomas and Marjorie Keller, to my dear friend who recently went home to be with the Lord after 93 years of life, Clyde Walters, and to my Liveprayer family. All have played a critical role in my life and whatever little I have been able to accomplish for the Lord has been due to the role each one has played in my life.

I was adopted when I was 16 months old. My parents weren’t rich by the world’s standards, but gave me riches beyond imagination showering me with unconditional love and teaching me to love Jesus and honor His Word. My father died from pancreatic cancer in January of 1974 right before my 16th birthday, but he taught me a work ethic that I embraced during my years running from the Lord and have continued to adhere to these past 30 years in my service to the Kingdom. My dear mother went home to be with Jesus a few days before Christmas in 1998, only months before I started Liveprayer, but was able to see me fulfill God’s will for my life during the first 5 years of my ministry.

I ran from the Lord’s calling on my life for a decade. I knew I was running, but the world had too great of a hold on my young life. God got my attention in 1989 when He sent a “big fish” after me like he did Jonah. Only the “big fish” he sent after me was the United States government. Despite going to church every Sunday as I had since my youth, for 10 years I ran from God. I knew what He was calling me to do with my life, but I had become smitten by money, power, ego, and the things of this world. In 1989, I was indicted for insider trading and spent two and a half years of my life in Federal Prison. But early on I finally gave God the one and only thing He ever wanted from me - my life, unconditionally surrendered to Him.

For the past 30 years I have tried my best each and every day to serve Him with everything I possess. I can say with all honesty I have given the Lord my very best each and every day. He loved me enough to die for me on a cross so my sins could be forgiven, how could I give Him anything less? I realize that tomorrow is promised to none of us, so each day I give Jesus everything I have just like it is my last day of this brief journey we are on called life.

The Bible says to whom much is given, much is required. God has blessed me with EVERYTHING in my life. My only desire each morning that He wakes me up is to minister to the needs of those He allows to cross my path that day, bring His Truth to the masses outside of the four walls of the church, and share the hope we have in Jesus Christ with the lost and hurting!

Thanks to the love, prayers, and sacrificial gifts of those in the Liveprayer family over these past 23 years online, nearly 20 years on TV, together we have impacted tens of millions of lives all over this world, prayed over and responded to over 20 million emails for prayer, have an archive of 2 million plus praise reports as a testimony to God’s grace and faithfulness, and seen over 2 million souls around the world that we know of come to faith in Jesus Christ!

I NEVER FORGET THAT EVERYTHING THAT LIVEPRAYER HAS ACCOMPLISHED FOR THE LORD OVER THESE PAST 23 YEARS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU, THE LIVEPRAYER FAMILY! I AM ONLY ABLE TO DO WHAT THE LORD HAS CALLED ME TO DO EACH DAY BECAUSE OF YOU, AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL FOR YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS, AND GENEROUS SACRIFICES TO HELP ME IN HIS WORK HERE AT LIVEPRAYER!

I want to say a special thanks for my dear friend of over 20 years, Paul Wilson, who has operated an influential PR firm in St. Petersburg as well as being an accomplished Hollywood actor. He is the son of longtime Tampa Bay FOX news anchor, John Wilson. Paul’s mother, Mary Wilson, is a long time gifted teacher of the arts in the Tampa Bay area. His brother, Mark, is a media personality currently at the FOX affiliate in Tampa Bay. Most know the work of Paul’s brother, Patrick who is a world renowned actor with roles in dozens of major Hollywood movies. My dear friend, Paul, is responsible for this wonderful video presentation of my life’s story.

Tens of millions worldwide have heard about God’s grace and mercy in my life through the internet, TV, radio, print, and personal appearances. It is a story I am not proud of because of my failures, but a story I have never run from. My choices led me to Federal Prison. I blame nobody but myself. Despite running from God’s calling on my life for a decade, He never gave up on me. Like the prodigal son, my Heavenly Father was waiting to greet me when I decided it was time to come home!

I didn’t know how long God would keep me around 30 years ago when I finally made the decision to completely surrender my life to Him. Obviously, He still has work for me to do 30 years later. I can’t re-live that decade I ran from God, but I have given Him 100% of everything I have for the last 30 years, and will until the moment He says my work is finished and calls me home to Glory. MY ONLY DESIRE IS THAT AT THAT MOMENT, I HEAR MY JESUS SAY TO ME, “WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!”
